about James
James has been working for over 25 years as a Motion and Graphic Designer and worked in Award-Winning teams within the film and design world. He is also an Artist and Printmaker creating colourful Pop-Art pieces using different mediums inspired by his love of 50s and 60s music, culture and art.
His Wave series was released for The Happy Gallery, a non profit for charity collective, in 2013 using 3D software to create stunning faceted waves at different times of the day. The show ‘Making Waves’ was held at The Coningsby Gallery. Proceeds from the donated artworks went to the benefiting charity Surfers Against Sewage.
His Home series was released again for the Happy Gallery in 2015 in a pop up held at Mother Agency in Shoreditch. ‘Home Is Where The Art Is’ donated proceeds to the charity Shelter.
He is now creating more Pop-Art influenced by Indiana, Lichtenstein, Warhol and others. They are hand made, screen prints and digital prints. Commissioned and public releases.
A percentage of James work goes to charitable causes.
